I disagree with that. What she did wasn't a mistake, it was a deliberate attempt to make money and she failed in that. How can you call something a mistake that you have done yourself while knowing all the possible consequences of it? A mistake is an action that is done unknowingly and/or without actually knowing the possible outcomes or consequences of it, but in this case, it's different, because she is an adult and she knows exactly what gambling is.

I bet she or anyone would say she did it by mistake if she had won a million dollars from gambling, why? If you lose your money, you've made a mistake, but if you make money, you did it through gambling, that's hypocrisy. She knew from the beginning that gambling has the quality to take all her money away but she still did it, so it's all on her and she should accept that, there is no other choice other than accepting the defeat and learning from the experience.
