Arsenal should win this game when they find Chelsea struggling. Manchester City win was a huge morale boost for them but international break interrupted the focus, that may affect their motivation. It would be nice to win at Stamford Bridge, draw is also not a bad result but we don't see any draw between these two teams lately. There was no draw in last nine games, nobody is satisfied with a draw. Arsenal beat Chelsea 4 games in a row, let's make it to 5.
Honestly this weekend is going to be a tough one. It's an appetising weekend in the English top flight, with two derbies, the reigning champions Manchester city are under pressure to get a result and Manchester United also in must-not-lose territory.
An improving Chelsea side will face an in form Arsenal side and in as much as Arsenal would want to extend their wins over Chelsea, I still have a feeling that this particular feature wouldn’t turn out well for the Gunners. Yes, their win over league champions Manchester city have given them that confidence to now face anybody. Arsenal looks the better side on paper to win today, a lot of bettors and punters have picked them to win from away. But something tells me that Chelsea will get a point in this game.
The main issue Chelsea has is that they are unable to play a defensive game when they are winning. Many people believe Chelsea will defeat Arsenal after scoring 2-0 in the first half, but I don't think Chelsea will defeat Arsenal at all. Chelsea's performance is insufficient for them to defeat Arsenal and end 2-0. If we look at Arsenal's performance this season, they are very strong and also the unbeatable team that no team has been able to defeat them in the Premier League this season. Since last season, I have respect for Arsenal because they know how to play ball with each other. However, I keep saying that as long as the game does not end, Arsenal will score back and end the game draw against Chelsea.
For some people, it might not be a problem, but I don't believe Chelsea deserve that kind of coach. Chelsea really need a coach who will teach the team how to play a defensive game when they are winning. Every team plays defensive game when they are winning, but for me, Chelsea don't have that kind of performance. It will be good if Chelsea team start learning how to hold their home tight because if they continue to lose, it will be difficult for them to a big match this season.
