There's also the option of exchanging a chunk BTC for LTC from time to time to make small purchases more feasible.
The practicality of using fiat for daily transactions is still INFINITELY better and easier in every conceivable way.
in the western world (incl. the US, as you said it)... but not in high inflation countries

btw happy 31k .. even if it's a fakeout in the end (this pump certainly started with one)

I have been starting to think that the fakeout showed that there was not a lot of resistance going up, so then the message starts to get out there that going up becomes a kind of easy route - until it is not.. but then how far does it get?  so we have the one point that we are near, which is the prior $31,818 local high, then we have the top of don't wake me up zone, which is around $35k, and then we have pre-deadman's zone in the ballpark of $50k, and then what other resistances are there?

Surely, the BTC price generally does not tend to go straight up... so I am having trouble considering getting past $35k without some profit taking correction.. while at the same time, if we actually are entering punishment mode, then king daddy might end up playing hard ball with a few of the naysayers and even those who don't have the BTC that they claim to have might get screwed in this process.. if the time is ready or maybe some of those folks still need to sell some BTC that they don't haven and let's see how long they can play that game, before they end up getting reckt.
