After the victory against England, the Afghanistan team got a good win against Pakistan. Responsible batting by the batsmen helped Afghanistan win with every player in the top order playing very well. One of the reasons for Pakistan's defeat was their poor bowling and fielding. Pakistan's batsmen played well enough today. But Pakistan's bowling and fielding was very bad. Even if the fielding was good, we would have seen this match very competitive. However, Pakistan has no chance of qualifying for the semi-finals. They have lost 3 out of 5 matches. However, they are still fifth in the points table. Still, qualifying for the semi-finals doesn't seem possible to me with such a poor performance. But mathematically it is still possible.
Afghanistan have made a big win and once again registered its presence in the world cup. Bad day for Pakistan, though they scored good they weren't able to defend Afghanistan team with the bowling line-up. One among the expected team had disappointed. On mathematical calculation it is possible, but with this performance they cannot move forward. Really disappointing, because Pakistan is said as the team with the best bowling team before the start, but the performance isn't to the level expected.

Not only was Pakistan's bowling bad, their fielding was atrocious. When the team wants to qualify for the semi-finals, they should have fielded better, worked harder. We have seen Pakistan's poor fielding against Australia as well. If the fielders could have done well, maybe Afghanistan would not have won so easily. Moreover, if Naseem Shah was in the World Cup squad, their bowling attack would have been stronger. He is unable to play in the World Cup due to injury. This is a big loss for Pakistan. Apart from Shaheen Shah Afridi and Hasan Ali, I have not seen controlled bowling from any bowler.
