Exactly. There was a decent start and when they were playing I was thinking that they could pull the runs above 300 but unfortunately, they didn't remain on the pitch. Noor Ahmad took 3 wickets and these 3 wickets were the strong pillar for the Pakistan team. He collected Abdullah Shafique Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan's wickets and they are the main players of Pakistan's team.
Afghanistan won with just 6 balls to spare. This one was the closest match in the tournament so far. If Pakistan had made another 10-15 runs, then it would have been tight. But then, Pakistan has only themselves to blame. There is still a chance that they could qualify for the semi-finals. But to do that they need to win almost all of the remaining matches. I guess it is the absence of Naseem Shah that is creating problems for Pakistan. The other three pacers (Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Hasan Ali) are not able to trouble the opposition batsmen.
There was the possibility of winning the match if the Pakistani team made some more runs like if they crossed the 300 digit then it would be very difficult for the Afghan team to chase them, yeah they would reach to nearest but could not beat them but somehow we can not neglect the afghan team maybe they are getting up as they are a team and there is no treaty with the afghan team to always remain the same and losing the match. If we talk about the Pakistani team they going down day by day and have one chance if they lose it then it creates headaches for them. Their bowlers are also nothing, Naseem Sha's bowling is too good and when it comes to batting he also tries to come out to the team during tough times and win a lot of matches for the team, but somehow he is injured and will get up after the world cup.
