What can you do about it? Get your coins off of any centralized exchange and in to your own wallet. Close your KYCed accounts and refuse to ever complete KYC again. Use privacy tools. Anonymize your coins. Refuse to use any service or product which treats bitcoin as non-fungible and discriminates against or censors certain coins.
From what I have experienced how many exchanges crashed I don't believe in any exchange, what happened to other exchange cam still hapoen to the ones that are existing it is just a matter of time. From the fall of exchanges I believe people might have learned in the hard way not to store their bitcoin in exchange but it is so disappointing that people do not want to learn from the past instead they prefer to learn from their own mistakes. Exchanges that claims to be decentralized anything can happen there anytime. People don't need to be carried away to store their bitcoin on exchange.
