Hey OP it is a great move to accumulate bitcoin, first I would advice you don’t publicly disclose the amount you have or you going to stash, you never can tell you who might actually know you outside the forum or hackers might be on your tail, the best form of security they say is privacy.
Also LoyceV raised a valid security concern which is about the wallet or where you are storing your funds. The key to a long time holding is to have a secure wallet. So OP my advice is for you to have an airgapped wallet even if it is the software wallets like
electrum, back up your seed properly offline if you haven’t done so and then avoid centralized exchanges or any custodian services.
That's the best approach to accumulate Bitcoin but I recommend you to buy only when you see a big dip in Bitcoin's price. The dips occur every once in a while and it will help you to accumulate more Bitcoin.
I wouldn’t advise him to wait for any dip because we are not certain maybe we are going to experience it anytime soon, the news or expectations of it happen is just speculations. So I would advise him to continue DACing and if his budget for a month in accumulating is $100 he can as well split it into $25 weekly because of the nature of the price currently. This will help in maximizing profit in the future.
