As we approach the festive season...prices of things have gone up...from food items... clothing..even household items and there is less flow of cash
What could be the actual cause? ...will the average Nigerian survive it? Well we only hope for a better tomorrow
A lot of things are currently affecting the price of commodities but the increase in the dollar and the approach of the festive season, especially clothes and shoes, and I noticed that the price of anything that goes up hardly comes down in this country and marketers are always taking advantage of every single moment, they always have stock in the shops so they always get very greedy to add a lot of money to their stock, and most of this commodities don't have any serious competitors and the ones available are taking advantage of people just to make more money.
If the average Nigerian can’t survive it, we wouldn’t all have been alive to witness another year like this. This has been happening for a long time now and will continue for years to come. I am yet to know what causes the price of foodstuffs and household items to increase. At the end of every season, I thought things should always come do since new items will be arriving the following year but in Naija the reverse is the case. What pains me more now will be the scarcity of fuel that will come in 1 and half months to come from now. It has always been like that, I pray there’s a difference this year which at the same time I feel they won’t be any.
Nigerians are surviving and trying their best to survive every single moment and every situation that is coming but the problem with Nigerians is that we are too tolerant verydark man said something about shutting down the country nobody should go to work and there should be a peaceful protest until our demands are met but we won't do what is right to do in a particular time the way people stood for mohbad why can we do the same for our selves, and for the increase of foodstuff it will continue to increase everything that increases in this country in this country no they come down.
