My question is this, will you continue to gamble till old age, or you have planned to stop gambling at a certain age?
I'm unsure whether my answer will remain the same as I age, but I want to quit gambling before I turn 60. I understand that there might be a lot of free time during retirement, which could lead me to consider gambling again. I'm interested in finding out about other enjoyable activities since I'm unsure whether I'll still be able to visit the casino and gamble at that age or have the funds to do so.
Why would you select age 60? I'm just curious. I would say that if you aren't sure if you'll have the funds available at age 60, then maybe gambling right now is not quite such a good idea. 60 isn't really all that old either. I understand peoples cognitive decline starts to kick in around that age, but most people in their 60's are just as sharp as they were in their 50's or perhaps even 40's.
As I reach the age of 60, I will come to rely on my monthly pension. It would be unwise to continue gambling at that point in my life. Furthermore, the pension amount provided in our country may not be adequate to cover the medical and daily expenses required for senior citizens.
