I am not really a fan of Slap Power after seeing what happened to the face of one contender his face was deformed and I was shocked and at the same time scared for him if his face would not return to normal but for sure back then I was really curious with this kind of event and what is happening but yeah there is no need for technical striking for this one all the fighters need to do and become sturdy so this will surely test their durability or their chin in this slap contest,
Not a fan too but I like to watch non UFC events that's on from time to time and make small bets here and there just to make it more interesting to watch. But tbh it was a good watch. I mean I don't think it'll be as huge as the UFC but it could have its own spot among spots fans. I wouldn't mind watching the next one.
Anyway here are the results for the event. Lol.
Vern Cathey Defeats Bear Bennett By KO In Round 1
Wesley Drain Defeats Travis Aragon By KO In Round 1
Ryan Phillips Defeats Darius Mata-Varona Due To Disqualification
Sheena Bathory By Christine Wolmarans KO In Round 2
John Davis (49-46, 49-46, 48-46) Defeats Azael Rodriguez By Unanimous Decision
Wolverine (48-47, 48-47, 48-47) Defeats Austin Turpin By Unanimous Decision
Damien Dibbell Defeats Nate Burnard By KO In Round 1
Da Crazy Hawaiian Defeats Kalani Vakameilalo By Knockout In Round 2
Here's the post fight match conference. Lol. They're trying to emulate the UFC. Hope it works out for them.
