Manchester united and Chelsea have suffered this season due to injuries and inconsistency in league games. They're unable to meet the high competitive standards of EPL but they are actually trying to recover, this is good news for these teams supporters. I'm a Chelsea fan and I'm more concern about the current status of my club. Chelsea performance is all we need to have to possess confidence in Mauricio Pochettino. The Blues have bounce back quickly and this time they're not relenting, always striving for better results and aim at reaching essential positions this season.
Chelsea misery seem understandable to me because losing those numbers of players they did and how important they were to the team will definitely affect them. Also they have a very large new number of signings which is one of the thing that cost them this season because you need to have this players blend together. Also the coach is new and his playing pattern wouldn’t be easily implemented even Pep Gaurdiola had to go a season before his pattern could be implemented at city. So I think Chelsea are on the right track.
But Manchester United is quite different although they needed to add more players but they still had the same players as last season with just few players leaving. I didn’t expect them to have this difficult at this time last season, but maybe the takeover issue is affecting even the performance of the players.
