I don't think that today's match will be competitive. Unfortunately for Pakistan, both the batsmen and bowlers are in great form for South Africa. Despite their pace-heavy bowling attack, South Africa has hardly given any room for their opponents to make runs. Kagiso Rabada, Gerald Coetzee and Marco Jansen are among the top-10 wicket takers so far, with 10 wickets apiece. The absence of Anrich Nortje is not being felt. And among the spinners, Keshav Maharaj have been quite economical and he has picked up wickets at crucial intervals.
Yes I also think that this match will not be competitive. Because Pakistan already lost 2 of their batsman. Which is making a pressure on Pakistan team. Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan is on the pitch at this time and made 45 runs total in 8 overs. Babar Azam is at 11 runs and Muhammad Rizwan made 6 runs. Both are good batsman if they will remain on pitch then we can say that the match will be competitive.
Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam duo used to be the safeguard for the Pakistan team. In every match this pair used to perform well, the mistake from them is losing wickets when the team requires their support. Moreover in most matches soon after the loss of the top order wickets remaining players never perform to the expected level and this ends up losing. This is what happened with India and in today's match Pakistan lost early Wicket and once again Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have begun to develop good partnership. Pakistan team is in a must win situation and losing in today's match will end their hope of moving towards the semifinals gets narrowed as they've lost three matches in the last five matches played.
