It is not just a matter of batting, the Pakistani team has proved to be weak in all three areas.It is not easy to defend 270 runs.Where the pitch is favorable to the batsman, a big target makes it easier for the bowlers to defend it.Pakistani bowlers continued their efforts till the end but the low score and weak performance could not win the match.
Today's match also made it clear that the batting of a South African team that is considered to be very strong can be deceiving,because today an easy target has been achieved so hard by a strong baiting line .I don't think South Africa should have taken the pressure of 270 runs.they usually scores 350 runs.
In my opinion, Pakistan did not perform as badly as many expected. 4 wickets were lost in their 136 runs. I thought that Pakistan would not be able to score 250 in this match. However, according to me, if Pakistan's top order batsmen had batted a little more responsibly, then Pakistan's score could have been 300 plus.
However, in terms of bowling, Pakistan team bowled well with a strong team like South Africa. I don't think South Africa could have scored 300 plus runs if they had batted earlier in the performance they did against Pakistan today. Because then you can see they had only one wicket left. However, my congratulations to the South African team as they managed to take their position at the top of the points table.
