What an incredible performance by Francis Ngannou against Tyson Fury even though he lost the fight by split decision, Francis Ngannou was able to drop him in the third round and won the round and it was a really close fight than anticipated and the stock of Francis Ngannou just gone up with this performance.

Thank God I went to bed and didn’t watch this circus. I’m too lazy to figure out what it was: stealing a victory from Ngannou, a fixed fight, a show match or something else. I can only agree with LeBron James' comment after this fight: this is why I don't watch box.

From what I read about the fight, I can assume that the victory should have been awarded to Ngannou: in my opinion, the activity + knockdown of the opponent cannot be “outweighed” by the accuracy of the blows and other statistical nonsense.
I am still trying to come to terms with the coined word: "split decision " that was used in stealing the victory away from Ngannou in this fight that was obvious even to the blind who the actual victor is. If we're told before hand that it's a fixed boxing match like the ones in the WWE we will understand and shield our swords of words against this denial but instead they're making it a controversial debate by their decision of who the winner is.

Ngannou should move on and keep the energy firing up ahead his future is just ahead of him and he would achieve more than this denied of him if only he doesn't let it weigh him down. It's not easy been denied of what you have spent time and energy enthusiastically training for and at the end this is what the boxing body in charge of the match could give as a decision.
