Several teams that have consistently won in the last 3 Champions League matches are Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Barcelona. I think these four teams will only need 2 more wins to maintain their chances of safely qualifying for the next round and I think it will be quite easy for them. For Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, perhaps they are in a quite difficult group because Manchester United and Napoli are predicted to disrupt their chances, but it seems that is no longer a problem. On the other hand, Manchester City and Barcelona are in a group filled mostly with weak teams and I think it will be easier for both of them to secure points in the next match without any problems.
Honestly they are big enough that nobody is shocked that they will be doing better and going further. It is not about if they will do good for the rest of the group stages, it is more about who they will face at the next stage and the stage after that. Let's realize that these teams are not going to all face different clubs all the time, they are going to eventually face each other, even year there is at least one team that faces another strong opponent at last sixteen and obviously at quarter finals at least one more matchup like that too.
So, it is clear that we are not going to end up with anything that would be all that shocking, we should be looking into this like it is going to end up with a bad result for at least one of the teams.
