I haven't tried to use apps like that on mobile, but it's better when you use it in the trading view than on mobile apps, if I'm not mistaken.
Then you know, there are many tool indicators that can be used, and the traders who will use them must have an idea or basic knowledge.
Zero knowledge is not possible, and it takes time before a newbie can understand that, right? Apparently, DYOR is still needed before it can actually be used properly.
Maybe you are not an active trader like him? And he might also be on the go or likes to go outside, so it's true that an app can be better because they can give a prompt notification. Visiting a website (Tradingview) using a phone is hassle IMO. They are only better if you are always at home, trading in front of your computer.
Tradingview is still a good website used by many traders but I'm not sure if they already have a mobile app. If there are, maybe they don't have a feature that the OP is looking for. Learning can take time and it can run longer if the person is slow at comprehending things. But that was fine. Trading isn't a race anyway. Rushing won't help us to become good at it, but it is when we are sincere about the lesson that we are taking.
