When a gambler is addicted to gambling, he's not just a threat his personal life and future but also a threat to everyone around him including family members. An addicted gambler is very ready to to anything that'll provide him the money to continue his gambling including stealing and other illicit activities that are condemnable by the general society. That's it's very important to notify anyone who wants venture in to gambling to leave how to gamble responsibly or leave anything that has to do with gambling.
I have a family who is addicted to drugs but I think they have the same principle because, in my observations, they are willing to sacrifice anybody just to fill their needs because they don't really care about anyone anymore as long as they get the means to do their addictions. Just like the story I always relate concerning this topic, when our neighbor befriended a gambling addict, they won't give him peace because whenever he loses all the money from playing cards, he goes to ask for money from them even in the middle of the night where everyone is sleeping and this is a real story because I witnessed it myself. this is how mad they are and they cannot just simply stop whenever they want.
Rightly said when it becomes crazy it is no longer just a game it becomes an addiction. Gambling addiction is an irresistible and uncontrollable urge to gamble it is very difficult not to fulfill that need most of the time is passed by gambling or thinking about gambling. Always does a good job of hiding there is a tendency to hide money and even steal it. A kind of inferiority also works in itself can't get away from it despite repeated attempts. This is a big problem that many people are reluctant to admit gambling addicts shun those who prohibit or do so.
