I Don't know what else the Manchester united board wants to see before they are convinced that Ten Hag isn't the man for the job
Manchester United have hired and fired quite a lot of managers ever since Fergie retired, and looking at United's performances this season, it is easy to predict that Erik Ten Hag is going to go in the same way, he'd be fired sooner or later. Having said that, even if he is fired, that would not solve Manchester United's problems, they would still be struggling because the club has already lost its winning mentality and these days other clubs are no longer scared to play United, because they know that they can beat them. I don't know what Manchester United needs to do to get back to glory days, but i am pretty sure it would not happen anytime soon.
Manchester United club losing its winning mentality should be one of the reasons, Manchester United is yet to sack Ten Hag. They don't want to make the mistake of sacking Ten Hag and the same mistake is still there, affecting the team to win matches.
Manchester United taking their time to make a final decision of sacking Ten Hag or not is a good move. At least let it be noted that Ten Hag was given enough time before they sacked him. It will now be Ten Hag's duty to return the Red Devil to its glorious days, now he has the chance to prove to the whole world that he's qualified to continue coaching Manchester United. If failed to, he should blame himself for that
