I Don't know what else the Manchester united board wants to see before they are convinced that Ten Hag isn't the man for the job
Manchester United have hired and fired quite a lot of managers ever since Fergie retired, and looking at United's performances this season, it is easy to predict that Erik Ten Hag is going to go in the same way, he'd be fired sooner or later. Having said that, even if he is fired, that would not solve Manchester United's problems, they would still be struggling because the club has already lost its winning mentality and these days other clubs are no longer scared to play United, because they know that they can beat them. I don't know what Manchester United needs to do to get back to glory days, but i am pretty sure it would not happen anytime soon.

Manchester United is not a team like Chelsea, who is always ready to fire its coach if they fall short of their expectations after losing too many games. We are all aware that Eric Ten Hag has not been at his best for his team and that he needs to work on his game approach and fight his way back into competition.  I don't think Manchester United will fire him anytime soon; he's doing his best, and this could be one of his worst times at the club. Manchester United, I believe, will allow him more time to improve before passing judgement on him.

Well I think so, somehow I'm not sure that Ten Hag will be fired I think Manchester United will give him time until the middle of the season they know that Ten Hag has the ability it's just that at the beginning of this season there seems to be a little problem. Next week Manchester United will play in the Champions League, well the results of the group stage might be one of their considerations to determine Ten Hag career as Manchester coach if he succeeded in bringing Manchester to qualify to the next phase then it is likely he will continue.
