The Indian bowlers completely destroyed the Sri Lankan top order. No Sri Lankan batsman can stay at the crease for long. Kasun Rajitha scored the highest for Sri Lanka. Rajitha scored 14 runs. 5 batsmen of the squad returned to the dressing room without scoring any runs. And two batsmen collected 1 run. Indian bowlers gave 10 runs extra. Sri Lanka's innings would have stopped before 50 runs if they didn't get these 10 extra runs. Mohammad dismissed three of the first four batsmen in the series and Mohammad Shami took the next four wickets. Due to the great performance of these two bowlers, the Indian team won by a huge margin of 302 runs.
By losing this match Sri Lanka is now out of this world cup and India has confirmed its spot for semifinal. South Africa is also in. And now there are four teams and from them 2 will be gone in Semifinal. NZ, AUS, AFG and PAK. If Afghanistan will win today match so Afghanistan will gain 8 points and will compete with AUS and NZ. Australia has 3 matches remaining. So this is hard to predict that who will go in Semifinal rounds. So let's see who will go.
