That is very true. Even though we have strict financial control, for me there are still emotional moments due to losing and when conditions like that happen we usually spend more money than usual to gamble. I often lose control when I get a big win the previous day and the next day I usually budget more money for gambling, and as usual when I get a big win then the next day will be a nightmare, and I spend some of yesterday's winnings.

I think yoou didn't do anything wrong when you do that because you're not spending your own capital but spending your profit. When we make profits, it's always good we add some money to the capital we'll use in gambling therefore increasing the capital so we can also increase the possibilities of making more profits. If you don't keep some profits and use them all up, you'll be affected when you need more wagers as there's no more money to use in gambling.

If you increase your capital that you'll use as wagers, you won't be tempted to chase after losing as you'll know you have more money that you can use for bets. Chasing losses won't help you because it only leads to more losses. Revenge gambling is a big reason why individuals lose money and get addicted to gambling therefore if we want to become a successful gambler, we have to avoid chasing losses and also avoid other unhealthy practice when gambling.
