Both favorites lost in today's matches. The first match was between Not.Forest and Aston Villa. Aston Villa, who played dominantly from the first minute of the match, could not even find a goal. I find it very interesting that Aston Villa, who have not had any problems in finding goals in all but one of the league matches they have played so far, could not score a goal today.
At first, I didn't even expect that Nottingham Forest would come close to getting a draw in this match today due to their poor performance in their last five matches. They did not win a single match in their last five matches while Aston Villa was in form because they even defeated West Ham United and they won all their last four matches. That is why I expect them to win this match without stress, but the early goal Nottingham scored gave them the confidence and hope of winning the match even though Aston Villa dominated the game.
In the other match Luton Town drew with Liverpool at home. Although Liverpool spent most of the game in Luton Town's half, we saw that they, like Aston Villa, struggled to find goals. With 76% possession and 24 shots, Liverpool managed to get a draw with a last minute goal.
Liverpool underrated Luton Town because they see them as a team that everybody is beating in the Premier League, because even Burnley got their first Premier League win against them, but surprisingly, Liverpool struggled to get a draw against them today. This is to keep reminding us that any team can be defeated in the Premier League because, had Klopp not brought in Luiz Diaz, it could have been another story for Liverpool this night.
