If you watched the match, you must know that Liverpool was almost defeated by Luton Town. Liverpool goal was made by Luis Diaz in injury time, minute 90+5'. I'm quite surprised to see Liverpool game today, they very dominated the match but they were very difficult to score goals. The reason can be caused by Luton Town applying very defensive tactic, or may be Liverpool attackers performed badly today. We can see they could make 20 shots, but they almost failed to score a single goal. There is something wrong with the accuracy of Liverpool players.
Liverpool weren't bad - but I admit they couldn't maximizing more their big chances to score. Luis Diaz saved Liverpool today from defeat - of course he did it perfectly giving him a rating of 7.2. In general, Liverpool was fine – it was just that Luton Town's tight defense made things difficult. A bit disappointing - but that's how it is and we have to bounce back from this in another game.
