Tottenham Vs Chelsea in relation with Manchester City
This night fixture between Tottenham and Chelsea is so important and not only between the teams but to the real lovers of the English football. I am no longer comfortable with the Manchester city dominance of the English football for may seasons now. Last season, I thought Arsenal will discontinue the reign of the Citizens, but the gunners ran out of arms.
This season, Manchester city has managed to find themselves again at the top of the English premier League table, which doesn't go down well with me. The two teams I had believed to give a fight to the Citizens are Liverpool and Arsenal and they really had bad weekend. The former narrowly escaped win by a relegation team while the later was robbed.
Honestly, I do not trust Tottenham to give a fight to Manchester city, but for fairness, they need to beat Chelsea to return to the top.
For chelsea, who are going through bad times, it may be a make or break game for their manager Mauricio Pochettino. Next week they will play Manchester City and the league will take a break. Although Chelsea's away record is better than their home record this year, they may suffer a different defeat against Tottenham. Tottenham, the only undefeated team in the Premier League, is also the only team with a 4-match winning streak. Tottenham wants to win and extend their winning streak to 5 games and catch Manchester City's 6-game performance. I think things will not get better for Chelsea and they will probably gonna have a bad score.
