Both favorites lost in today's matches. The first match was between Not.Forest and Aston Villa. Aston Villa, who played dominantly from the first minute of the match, could not even find a goal. I find it very interesting that Aston Villa, who have not had any problems in finding goals in all but one of the league matches they have played so far, could not score a goal today.
In the other match Luton Town drew with Liverpool at home. Although Liverpool spent most of the game in Luton Town's half, we saw that they, like Aston Villa, struggled to find goals. With 76% possession and 24 shots, Liverpool managed to get a draw with a last-minute goal.
This weekend has been filled with alot of unfavourable results for most clubs and this is one weekend that a lot of sport bettors have had their tickets destroyed all because of the negative and unexpected results that were recorded in this weekend, u lost my bet on Liverpool winning in the game today, but very unfortunate they're ended up with draw games and this made me very sad even though Liverpool was up against a much weaker club like Luton town who every fan was expecting believing that it will be a walkover for Liverpool but then they still ended with a draw match.
Sometimes that's the way it has to be because you don't always want to end a match in a way that the bookmakers win. In gambling, the house usually always wins and as long as gambling continues, I think we will continue to see surprise results in matches. I think it should be a surprise to see such a result when you would normally expect Liverpool to win with a clear result against an out of form opponent. It's interesting when you have a real strength in depth against your opponent and you are heavily favored, but then you get a last minute goal and a difficult draw.
