Arsenal did not win this match. Well they actually played very well. But the problem is in the attack line which is unable to maximize every opportunity they get. I failed to make a prediction in this match. Because I hope Arsenal win even with a narrow score. But on the contrary, Newcastle managed to win and allowed their supporters to go home happy.
But even so, I'm not too surprised because Newcastle is indeed one of the strongest teams this season and last season. Okay, I really do not understand how the goal was actually given, to be honest. Because first of all, it did look like the ball actually went over the line. Secondly, there was a big push on the Arsenal player right inside the box. I have no idea why the goal was still given. Even if the board did not go out of play, the push on the Arsenal player was pretty easy to see. I also agree that Arsenal was definitely unlucky in this match. they have played really well but still lost the match. But I also agree that as a club that is going for the title, they should perform better.
In last few years, we have good changes in sports with use of technology is also doing his good contribution but sadly still things are not as we need now in last few weeks we have serious problems with this VAR as well first Liverpool suffers and now Arsenal even currently we are on debate about is this goal right or no but if this technology can't bring positive changes then surely doubts could be on about its use and things could be stayed at controversies as well which is surely not ideal situation.
I personally watch different views about this goal and feeling this was not allowed as goal, but pundits are former players are having completely different view from me, and they are consistently saying this was goal and nothing gone wrong in this all which is surely another story, but we need better and transparent things which bring better end of the games without any problem.
