In the society now most persons are only after making money forgetting that when your not healthy, you won't enjoy that same money your struggling for....like business people it's very difficult for them to close their shops to go for medical check-up because they feel they are loosing customers those hours they will stay at the hospital..rather they prefer self medication just for them to stay in the shop. What's the essence of making money without being alive to enjoy it

So as long as they're still capable to work while self-medicating, they will prioritize to earn money more than their health.
