Op, gambling itself is addictive, if you are going into gambling you should consider many factors which are addiction and money wastage, nothing will stop a gambler if he doesn't satisfy his or her urge, a gambler will stop at nothing, do you know that you might be addicted to gambling and still think that you are normal, the problem with gambling is addiction, we know this part of gambling can not be curtailed, so which way, I have a brother who is much more addicted to gambling, I told him that I will like us to discuss about his gambling habit, we started the discussing, I was telling him the possible means to stop this addiction, he said that he will stop at nothing until he win big, that's to say that he is not considering his loss but focus on future winning, what will be the possible advise for this kind of person.

He's already addicted. A responsible gambler needs to recognize when they're going off track. Knowing your limits and when to stop is crucial. Remember, gambling is meant for fun, so it's important not to wager everything until you're content. Otherwise, you might end up spending more than intended.

I agree that responsible gambling requires recognizing when you're going off track and knowing your limits to avoid excessive spending. However, I also disagree because once someone is already addicted it can be extremely challenging to regain control and simply recognizing the problem might not be enough to stop them from spending more than intended.
Everything will depend on the wishes of the gambling addict. If he realizes that he is addicted to gambling and wants to reduce his gambling addiction, he can discuss it with someone and ask for help to do something that can help him reduce his gambling addiction. But if gambling addicts only focus on winning and don't want to listen to advice from other people, it will be difficult because they have to admit that they are addicted to gambling and must be cured immediately before it is too late. If someone is not too deep in gambling and is still trying to limit his gambling, he may still be able to accept advice from others. He can realize that he must really protect himself from gambling addiction and must be able to accept the fact that controlling oneself in gambling is something that he must have.
