After freezing my account and all the mumbo jambo they sent me email that says:
"Thank you for confirming that you have secured your email account.
We have sent you a new password via email and enabled access to your profile page so that you can confirm your identity. Please complete a very quick and simple verification using the Poloniex app for iOS or Android."
Why do they ask me to download an app, sounds a bit shady... Is this normal or am I the only one who has got message like this?
Edit: Obviously I didn't ask for a new password and I have confirmed my identity ages ago.
Am sure that maybe the person contacting you is likely to be one of their old layed off staff who knows about the whole process, but now turned a scammer and trying to ruine their repyta or probably they are the one not to be trusted, any requests demanded from you while you don't make a request on should be treated as fake and an attempt for scam, downloading their apps will make nothing than for them to have your informations at the cause to be used against you later.
