In regards to what everybody have discuss here about how we plan to eradicate shitposters and spam from our local board, I just came across this few statements by "1miau" which I think will be of great help to anybody finding it difficult here on this forum to use this as a guide to level up his/her post quality by applying the suggestion made below.. Because this issue of spam, we are not the only local board experiencing it, but how we are able to handle it amicably will determine the faith of our local board in the near future. So on that note, I will like all newbies to give reference what this alternative given below by our brother from a different board @ "1miau"

You can get massively (more) Merit by following simple rules:

For new topics:
  • Presentation of guides / tutorials / insightful topics where many people could be interested in
  • Innovative giveaways

Comments in existing topics:
  • Is your comment helpful for OP?
  • Contributing interesting content and providing insights instead of just rehashing what’s already been said / uninteresting fluff / guessing needlessly

For new and existing topics:
  • Dividing your article / topic into meaningful sections, using sub-headlines, highlighting important parts. Nobody wants to read a text block of 10-15 consecutive lines
  • Exposing and removing spam and scam [1]
  • Using pictures / tables / lists, to visualize complex content [3]
  • Good Memes.
