We live in a competitive internet age, where almost anything is possible, technological innovations are happening everyday. Individuals and firms are outdoing each other to give better versions of their innovations, so we'll just wait and see whether any any cryptocoin can take over from bitcoin, although I won't worry myself about that now.
Yes, your point is also correct that you said that we are living in the competitive internet age, in which almost everything is possible, but I have a question: do you have any evidence to confirm that any coin can take over Bitcoin or be more valuable than Bitcoin? So far, we have not seen any other coin that has the potential to take over Bitcoin. It is clear that each coin has its own merits and use cases, but it will not be appropriate to compare these coins to Bitcoin or consider them more valuable than Bitcoin because these coins lack the qualities that Bitcoin has, such as being immutable, high value, high volume, etc. So far, no coin has done this like Bitcoin has.
So I mean that bitcoin is the supreme of the cryptocurrency world and no one has the competency to bow it down.
For now bitcoin is the king of all cryptos, but we don't know about tomorrow, because before the emergence of bitcoin, i believe that we only had fiat as the only means of currency payments, and for currency trading purposes we have the forex market, that is also fiat. Then bitcoin came and changed the narrative, by introducing digital currency that is decentralized. So maybe one day a better version of bitcoin, that we have not imagined today, can be created, to put bitcoin in second place or even put it in the level to compete with altcoins. We're just analysing future events that can happen in the crypto space, but unarguably for no was we have said before bitcoin remains the cryptocurrency to beat.
Competition is good for crypto coins, so that developers can go to work on how to unseat bitcoin, it's all about innovation.
