So isn't anyone going to talk about the fact that topic says seabet.io, and that there's a real site in https://www.seabet.io but OP so linking to url seabet9.io
I am just wondering why anyone in here wouldn't thing that this wouldn't be a phishing scam? Because to me it just seems obvious and there's no way i would link trough that site. Or am i missing something obvious here?
Hello! We use Seabet9.io as our marketing link for Seabet.io. We want to assure you that we prioritize the integrity of our services and the trust of our users. We do not engage in any form of scam, and maintaining a positive reputation is of utmost importance to us.
Ok, i confirmed that's a correct url from seabet.io livechat so i apologize.

But seriously this doesn't make any sense to me . Why would you do this? Don't you think that typosquatting is the first thing people would associate miswritten urls with?

I am just confused on how is this effective brand building and marketing? Wouldn't affiliate links would be enough? Why do you need whole different urls for it?
Maybe you can explain the advantages so as a noob i won't be this suspicious in the future.
