No way, even before Manchester United had the thought of signing him (Lisandro Martinez), De Gea has been doing extremely wonderful on the goal line, Manchester United never had what it took to help out the shot stopper, it has been him all these while and when they signed the Argentine defender there wasn't any difference in helping the Spanish goalkeeper. To me De Gea has been the defender and the goalkeeper of the United side even before the introduction of Lisandro Martinez.
