Manchester United lacked aggressive defenders who will pose a significant threat to their opponents, and I blame Erik Ten Hag for these mistakes, since he failed to buy backup defenders for the primary positions.
Actually, we should not blame Manchester United for the transfer of Onana, because with his great performance last year, he showed that he was a quality goalkeeper who could be transferred to any team looking for a goalkeeper. We expected a similar performance this year, but it has not been successful yet. Even though he has some mistakes, I think he will slowly find himself.
Andre Onana was a great goalkeeper last season and helped take Inter to the Champions League final. But unfortunately, this very good performance has slowly declined since he joined Manchester United this season and perhaps the pressure of being the main goalkeeper at a club full of history made his mental decline and he often made mistakes. We know that Red Devils fans are very hungry for titles and therefore every player who has been recruited by the club must prove that he deserves to wear the uniform. Andre Onana is just unlucky to be at a club that is in a period of improvement and he must be able to get up to give good results for this team considering that Manchester United has been down with the existing situation for too long.
