Chasing of losses has been a major problem I think gamblers are facing because most of the addiction came as a result of chasing of losses to recover all they have lost, but in the process of doing so, they keep losing more and more as they continue to chase their losses.  Watching influencers play, gamble, and win is not the major point, though, because that is not convincing for one to rush to start gambling because they saw an advertisement of an influencer playing and winning. I see that as not convincing because it is a fake advertisement, so in that case, it might be a fake win to entice gamblers to playing with them and when they do, they start to tell stories and lots more.
that's why we have to be smarter in assessing things, advertisements definitely promote what they advertise with the promise of big profits, of course to attract the interest of users, which in reality the advertisement does not match the facts.

Chasing losses will only make us increasingly out of control and will most likely become addicts. If we have experienced this it will be difficult for us to stop because all we have in mind is the ambition to win at gambling, therefore according to the title of this thread "chasing losses it's a dangerous thing"

Agree with you, we have to be smart in choosing and understanding what the aims and objectives of advertising are so that we don't easily believe and don't easily take promotions that have been advertised, because in fact most of the promotions that are advertised do not match the facts stated or promised.
It is true that by chasing victory or chasing defeat in gambling, a person will not be able to control his gambling because he really wants his hopes and desires to be fulfilled, if they are not fulfilled then he will become more brutal in gambling, even to the point of being said to be an addict, so what is true? what you said. If you have become an addict, it is very difficult to stop this behavior and can even last for quite a long time.

Obviously, what we see as advert by influencers are not what they are in the reality. They are sometimes the opposite of what we think they are after going through the process and having the experience. Most times these influencers are just after their pockets and nothing much even the adverts they do on social media through their handles are fake sometimes. All these are just to get t their fan base and followership while marketing their affiliate products. And their fans who got no idea of the gimmicks just rush in and begin to d OP things and get carried away without verification and confirmation. Some of them ends up losing funds while some at the end become addicted to it whatever the case maybe. Addiction is not intentional but conventional.
