You are right and I have seen games that could still be won by a team that was one man down, but I can't remember that I saw a team on that level that was two men down and still won the game. And I mean as you said counter attacks were of course impossible for Tottenham and since this is one of their strongest tactics, it was quite over for them when the second player was sent off. The result in the end was quite high for Chelsea and it could have ended with a goal less than that, but still the win was quite safe for them.
I was very disappointed with the performance of Tottenham's players against Chelsea. Because I was not at all prepared to see such a poor performance from Tottenham at home. Tottenham were in great form. So we had high expectations from Tottenham in this match as well. But Chelsea's players dominated this match. Chelsea had 63% ball possession as well as attacking a lot. And perhaps this is why Tottenham's performance was quite poor. While Chelsea's players made a total of 17 shots, Tottenham's players made only 8. Let's hope we don't see such a poor performance from Tottenham against Wolves. Players need to be more confident.
It's not all of totenham players were performing so poorly, in fact udogie and romero have been destroying the gameplay that has already build since the first half. The first goal was making chelsea lost its hope but after romero got a red card and everything changed. Totenham just needs to learn from its mistakes. The players shall be able to control their emotion properly.
Udogia and romero were the main problems and let's move on. Chelsea will be going to face city in upcoming game. Chelsea will be playing at home and my guess that if chelsea will suffer another lose for sure.
