Unfortunately, Afghanistan didn't took the wickets of key players Rassie van der Dussen but Rashid Khan took 2/37 and Mohammad Nabi 2/35 a brilliant fight from the Afghanistan spinners against South Africa. South Africa winning it by 5 wickets because of brilliant innings of Rassie van der Dussen 74 unbeaten. Afghanistan is now officially out of wold cup, they win 4 matches out of 9 matches in this world cup. Afghanistan beaten first time 3 world champions Pakistan, Srilanka and England.

South Africa won the match by 5 wickets against Afghanistan. Afghanistan team was all team out on 244 runs. Both teams played very well and at the end South African team was announced as victorious. Van der dussen played very well and made 76 runs in 95 balls ,he remained not out at the end of inning. From Afghanistan batting side, Omarzai made 97 runs in just 107 balls .From South African bowling side ,Gerald played excellent and took 4 wickets by giving 44 runs in 10 overs.Lungi Ngidi took 2 wickets by giving 69 runs in 8.3 overs and Maharaj also took 2 wickets by giving only 25 runs in 10 overs.South will play Semi final against Australia and South Africa is favorite for Semi final and it will qualify for final and it will play final against India.
