Juventus had a meeting in England for Kalvin Phillips, who is open to a move from Manchester according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The move if it will be, will be as on loan.
This is a good deal for both parties. Kalvin Philips need regular top flight football for the next coming Year as the Euros are on the horizon and his lack of quality game time will limit his chances of getting selected. Southgate had in the past and now come under serious criticism for even inviting the likes of Philip while they are other options. Philip period at Manchester city has somewhat not been has he would have planned it to be even he has won almost every available trophy at the club level but Rodri brilliance has kept him out. Although I still think they don’t need him anymore because why go for Nunez when kalvin Philips can simply fill that role.
As for juventus, they will need him to cover for the suspended Paul Pogba who I think might have played his last game so for Juventus prior to the doping scandal. The loan move made by Juventus is a good option this will allow them access their target and see maybe he could play in the Italian league before going in for a full transfer. But the problem is City and Pep do not like loaning out players but rather complete sale or you sit and fight for your place which I would say Philip won’t win that too,
