Trading is not really a matter of the currency pair or the coin pair which you trade but rather it is based on you the trader applying the right strategy or the strategy that you are using to trade. You can have the right pair to trade, for instance, BTC/USD, and still lose money because you are not using the right trading strategy to short or long that particular future contract.
