I did not have such a mentality (not even outside of  Bitcoin). I keep talking about how this is affecting a lot of newbies who are joining the train. Today it is common for many people to have this mentality because Bitcoin has done really well over the years, and I know that is the reason why newbies jump onto any and many shit altcoins as they hope it could be another Bitcoin. But I hope that somehow, newbies will get to learn the easy way that Bitcoin is not a Ponzi scheme or a get-rich-quick program; it is only a currency that has the added advantage of profits when volatility decides to favor investors.
