I see you are from Indonesia, I also come from Indonesia I live in the capital with my monthly income of $230.
My living costs while living in the capital are quite expensive compared to living in the village.
1. Internet costs = $4/month
2. Transport (top up money) = $20/month (train + bus)
3. Food = $1/day (cook yourself) or $30/month
4. Boarding house = $50/month (outdoor bathroom)
5. Unexpected costs = $60/month

A month is never more than $180. There was even a record under $150 when I wanted to save money.

It seems that the rate of inflation in your country is very low because you can live in the capital of the country at such a low cost. What you spend living in the capital, we spend living in the village. If we start living in the capital of our country Pakistan, we can spend only one week with this amount of money.

Your food costs a dollar a day and if we wanted a dollar we could just eat breakfast. Now think about what our food bill will be in a month. We cannot say that the monthly income is better in your capital city, but it is slightly better than in our country. However, having less expenses than income means that inflation is lower and therefore time can be better spent on income, but more problems can arise where expenses exceeds income.
