Self-exclusion is there for stake and other casinos. But if you want to get reminded then you have to do that manually for yourself, don't just let it all pass to the casinos because it's still you that have total control over yourself and your money.
Exactly. We're the one in control, therefore it is our responsibility to limit ourselves if we don't want to spend the money that is beyond our budget for gambling. So why look for casinos who have such feature if you can do it by controlling yourself not to deposit anymore to prevent further losses. This is one of the reason why it is crucial for gamblers to have discipline.

but do you think that most casinos will be happy to do that to limit the deposits and losses of their customers weekly?
It's a business, who would want to limit their customers on how much they want to spend? More losses, more income and that's how their business work. You can self-exclude yourself (if the specific casino has this feature) but they won't limit their gamblers on how much they will spend in gambling. We are not coerce to play anyway, it's the gambler's will.
