Your opinion is reasonable, Manchester United will not be able to escape from the group phase because the remaining matches are against strong teams such as Galatasaray and Bayern Munich. Maybe they should focus on qualifying for the European league by pursuing third place in the group considering that Manchester United's decline is not only a strategic problem but many injured players will put Erik Tag in big trouble.
But I still believe that MU's recent downturn is due to Erik Tag Hag's own fault for not being able to discipline his players, and he doesn't dare to bench players who really don't work, they continue to be played even though these players never improve every time they are played. I hope that when we play against Galatasaray, Erik Tag Hag will have the courage to take a firm stance towards the players and can formulate a good strategy, because victory over Galatasaray is important for increasing the players' self-confidence.
Manchester United faces a heavy task to go through from the group stage after defeat to Copenhagen in the UCL. They have both Galatasaray away and at Old Trafford, Bayern Munich, now they won’t just hope on their results but also results fro other fixtures in the group, and it’s quite worrisome. I feel they’ve got lots of work to do to even secure Europa spot.
ETH came with a very nice philosophy at first but what went wrong this season, where is the discipline? Where are the morals, they need a win at Galatasaray and should go all out for it, ETH should take charge of this team lest he capsides, well he still got 2 tough chances of making the next round and it's going to be very difficult to achieve however nothing is impossible in football.
