She said '' You people are just wasting our time, if it were the bad boys terrorizing the region you people won't stop them''. The Sars man got angry and asked the girl to come down from the vehicle, the girl came down and she was taken into their custody for further questioning about her comment. The officer asked the driver to carry the rest of the passenger and continue with the journey. Some passengers pleaded with the officer to let the girl go but they refused, they said the girl must show them evidence where she saw them not stopping bad boys. They accused the girl of working with bad boys. The girl was detained while we continued with our journey.
Her statement was bad and it is an insult to any uniform personnel more like she meant they don’t know their job and they are not doing their work properly. It’s really disrespectful and if she should put herself in their shoes and someone make such statements to her how would she feel? Before we utter any statement we need to thoroughly think of how people will perceive it first, if it will hurt anyone then we shouldn’t say them to avoid problems like this.
The girl wouldn't have found herself in that situation if she had kept quiet without saying a word.
we should learn how to control our tongue at all time. Don't say unguided words when in public place.
Don't say anything when your opinion is not sought after in a public place because you don't know who is who.
I feel like sharing this so that we can avoid some unnecessary problems in our lives.
It serves her right, i have noticed this kinda things with girls they talk too much and they always feel they can talk about anything they like and I noticed again they don’t usually respect military personnels even though they are the ones that risk their lives to protect us. I have seen and heard couple of times where women talk bad about them and most of them are quite lucky not to be caught so this would probably serve as a lesson to others. No matter the position we find ourselves we should know how to use our tongue even though we feel we are superior to those around us, words hurts more and especially in a public place you will never know who some people are until you step on them so it’s better to mind your business to avoid unnecessary wahala.
