Aston Villa has better goal productivity than Tottenham. But I see Tottenham still have a good chance of beating Aston Villa. This is an interesting match because the two teams are only 1 point apart. Tottenham will win that match and Aston Villa will remain in 5th place in the standings. Even though Aston Villa has more wins but it cannot be said that Aston Villa has better chances.
It would be a really interesting match of equal teams. Aston Villa with the arrival of Emery plays attacking soccer and scores a lot of goals and as it is not strange, but Tottenham with the departure of Kane became a more attacking team and began to score even more, although it seemed the departure of the top scorer should weaken the team, but the opposite happened.
Both clubs are trying to return to the soccer elite and especially Aston Villa need it, which has not played at the highest level for a long time. So now for Aston Villa Chelsea and Tottenham are direct competitors for a place in the Europa League and maybe even in the Champions League.
We expect a lot of goals in their match, but still I think now Aston Villa will be a bit stronger than Tottenham and should win.
Aston Villa has been outstanding so far under Emery and it’s fair to say that they’re a better side than the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea currently. They’ve been picking up points so far at home and have only gotten 7 points away from home. That to say they’re not very good when playing away. When the Premier League returns from the international break, they’ll travel to Tottenham, which I think they might not be able to get maximum points even though Tottenham are have injury issues. Then, within the space of four days in early December, they have home games against Manchester City and Arsenal, before a trip to Old Trafford on Boxing Day.
Emery would want to get as more points as possible because of the tough fixtures coming up and out of these 4 games, they will like get more than 5 points that’s if they do well.
Tottenham will not play like they’re missing some key players, they’ll fight and if Aston Villa do not turn up well, Tottenham might win the game. They lost their last game to Wolves at home, I don’t think Ange would want to drop another 3 points anymore.
