Real Madrid is trying to find a replacement for Dani Carvajal.
Recently one important thing for Real Madrid has been to have a good right-back player for a long time and that's why they are trying to find a young player for it.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is the player they want to hire and Real Madrid is ready to pay 80 million euros for him.
It is the right decision to look for new right backs. I think Real Madrid can't rely on Dani Carvajal and Lucas Vázquez for a long time, they are already more than 30 years old. Not only Trent Alexander-Arnold, Achraf Hakimi and Reece James are also top young right backs. But it should be difficult to sign them because they are main players in their current teams. The market price of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Achraf Hakimi are the same, it is around €65m. It is actually a good offer if Real Madrid prepare for €80m. Meanwhile Reece James market price is only around €55m, cheaper than the price of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Achraf Hakimi. So, Reece James transfer fees ideally will be lower than €80m. However, I'm personally not really sure about the chance for the players to leave their current clubs although real Madrid makes an interesting offer.
