Aston Villa has better goal productivity than Tottenham. But I see Tottenham still have a good chance of beating Aston Villa. This is an interesting match because the two teams are only 1 point apart. Tottenham will win that match and Aston Villa will remain in 5th place in the standings. Even though Aston Villa has more wins but it cannot be said that Aston Villa has better chances.
It is quite remarkable that if Aston Villa wins, Tottenham will be out of the top 4, but just recently (2 rounds ago) Tottenham was in first place. But it’s hard for me to believe in such an outcome, since three defeats in a row would be too unfair for Tottenham. I hope they stay in the title race. I kept saying that they were not there because they were good, they were there because others weren't great, when others started to be great, it was proven that they were not that great. I mean it was just early weeks, for a few weeks they looked like they were leaders, but we all knew that they weren't good enough to make that stick, and with 3 weeks of losses in a row, it is normal that they would lose their position big time.
I mean what was the points in total when they were leading 2 rounds ago? They would give others 9 point advantage if they get all those three wins versus Tottenham losing all those 9 points. That has to be the clear indicator that they weren't that good to begin with if it all goes away with just 3 games.
