2023/24 La Liga season has been quite an entertainment so far. Girona is leading the league race for this season up until now. but, will Girona end the year on top? Barcelona, aiming to defend their title, unfortunately hasn't had the best performances this season. while, Atletico and Real Madrid, their closest challengers, have been pretty convincing so far. Girona's progress over the last 13 matches has really gone well, which I applaud, it seems that their journey will not stop without them facing big teams like Madrid or Barcelona.
When facing Rayo a few days ago, it was clear that the Girona squad played with good control and calm even though they were behind 1-0 in the 5th minute because Rivera managed to score a goal for Rayo but in the end Girona was able to win 2-1 until the end of the match.
