Tottenham as a host will play against Aston Villa later and i think this is interesting match because surprisingly Tottenham cannot last long to occupy first place even last week they have to lose against Wolves and Tottenham opponent Aston Villa has just gets different result because Aston Villa last week can able to beat Fulham at their home ground
Tottenham are in a bad condition now after the two consecutive defeats they suffered will certainly affect the mentality and confidence of this team, especially since they had to give up the top position of the standings to be taken by Manchester City and now Tottenham is even in 3rd place in the Premier League standings.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa are in a good position now so this will be a difficult match for Tottenham to recover from.
I think the possibility of Aston Villa winning points in this match is very big even though this match will be played at Tottenham's home ground.

One of the causes why Tottenham performance was decline because they losing some players especially James Maddison that this player has important role why Tottenham performance was so fantastic even without Kane but when Maddison got injured seems it greatly affects to the performance of Tottenham because they were suffering 2 losing streak without this player but Aston Villa away matches records also not quite good because they have been experienced 2 loses from away matches and probably Tottenham will realized these records and they can beat Aston Villa and return to winning ways
Losing several players is not an excuse for a team like Tottenham, this team should be fairly evenly distributed in all sectors if there is rotation, if so I think Tottenham still doesn't deserve to compete fiercely in the race for the Premier League title this season.
Personally I believe Tottenham will struggle in this match and I think it would be very risky to bet on Tottenham winning.
Did you just said loosing several players is not an excuse? There is no team that loosing players has not in one way or the other affected their performance and have made them dropped point. Last season Arsenal played very well and was at the top of the table until of their best defenders and midfielder - Saliba and Partey got injured and went out of season. This affected them and they started loosing points that is how they bottled the league to Man City.

Statistics were given that since 03/04, that Man City the premier league champions have conceded an average of 29 goals and scored 85 goals while Arsenal has conceded 43 goals and scored 88 goals. So you can see that after the injuries of Arsenal player they started to concede a lot of goals which made them lost the league.

Agreed. The argument that the team should be evenly distributed cannot be a valid argument, as every team has irreplaceable players who, if they get injured, will be replaced by less experienced ones and obviously they will perform much worse, it will affect the game instantly. You can fill the team with high quality players, but there is not enough space for all of them in the starting line up and they will have to sit on the bench, this will not suit many people.
