This is so wrong because if you look at how Napoli did last season, they had an incredibly strong early season until they had this huge advantage over every other team, and then they also had several weak games, more losses and draws towards the end. I think the weak games came when they got eliminated from the Champions League, but comparing this early season to the early season from last year, I can't think of a coach that would have been able to safely maintain Napoli on that level. The stats they achieved were insane.
We are giving too much emphasis on Rudi Garcia without looking at the players that were in deficiency. The time they lost matches was after Osimhen had an injury and instead of them to change strategy, they play plainly games with Osimhen style but Khvicha couldn't deliver ways of Osimhen, so should we blame him for the players incompetent? No, he can only do his best to give the players what they can do, how they do it is beyond him when they are playing.
Those are my thoughts, I agree. Blaming the coaches all the time is not the right to go about it. I mean no coach can be blamed for not being to replace a player like Osimhen one to one. Because if a coach had a striker like Osimhen sitting on the bench, everyone would call that coach an idiot
It's like the top players who successfully stay at the top for years and years and never decline in performance before they get older. They are exceptional for that reason and the same applies to whole teams. Napoli played a perfect season for almost the entire team, but how likely was it that they can do it again? We are still talking about Napoli in a league that is pretty strong at the top. Napoli can't be compared to prime Barcelona or Real Madrid.
